Bernard Purdie Signature Series Set
Actual 1996 Bernard Purdie Clinic kit
This set was purchased from Art Benson's Dynamic percussion following a Purdie Clinic
tour and still has some of its original heads on it
The Finish is in excellent condition with the only real signs of wear being 2 small spots on the
bottom right side of the bass drum as seen two pictures below
The Finish work was done by none other than Slingerland's finish artist, Pat Foley and it is impeccable
Finish is a gorgeous White Lacquer elegantly offset with gold plated hardware
The gold plating has also aged very well and is in very nice condition
Sizes are 8" x 12", 9" x 13", 14" x 14", 14" x 18" bass drum with 8" x 14" snare drum
The sound is phenominal very melodic toms, warm resonant and punchy bass
Accompanied by a very warm and dynamic snare drum
Each drum is tagged and serialized
