Here we have one incredible array of Gretsch drums owned and played by Cindy Blackman
8" x 12" 9" x 13" 14" x 14" 16" x 16" 18" x 18" and 14" x 22"
These drums all sound superb
The finish and chrome are all in excllent condition
All toms and floor toms feature dual twin pad mufflers
Bass drum features Pratt Felt muffler
Natural Maple hoops feature Chrome inlay
This set was restored to perfection about 3 years ago and has
been used on numerous recordings and performances and some of the heads still have
some music notes from the last session penned on them
This set was also used at the NEIDX 2007 performance and there is a youtube clip below featuring this set
A Modern era set from Gretsch in the configuration would list around $8000 and not be
built of these classic Japser shells.
